Fat Tuesday (Mardi Gras) is the final day of indulgence before the 40-day Christian fasting season of Lent, occurring the day before Ash Wednesday. It signifies a, "last hurrah" to consume rich foods—like meat, sugar, and fat—before a period of fasting and repentance. It is celebrated worldwide with parades,, carnivals, and, traditional treats.
On Sunday we will be serving Paczki (Pronounced “Punch-key” or “Poonch-key”), a sugar-coated Polish pastry filled to the point of bursting with different fruit or crème fillings. Paczki are made with a richer dough and are larger than our jelly donuts. Please join us!
